WHY
About Us

Every child
deserves to
be understood.

We built this platform because too many Ghanaian children are being failed — not by their ability, but by a lack of early identification and support.

The Problem

Misunderstood.
Mislabelled.
Missed entirely.

In Ghana, dyslexia is widely misunderstood — often confused with laziness, low intelligence, or lack of effort. Children who struggle to read are punished rather than supported. Parents are left searching for answers with no clear path forward.

Yet dyslexia affects an estimated 1 in 5 people. It has nothing to do with intelligence — many of the world's most innovative thinkers are dyslexic. The difference between a child who thrives and one who is left behind is almost always early identification.

We exist to close that gap — starting with a free screening every Ghanaian parent can access from their phone.

Our Story

A pitch. A handshake.
A platform.

01
The MeetingPan African AI & Innovation Summit

Joshua had just finished presenting Vitobu — a productivity and accountability platform for university lecturers and students — when Kingfred Atta approached him. He spoke briefly about his work in dyslexia advocacy and inclusive education, then said: "I'd like to work with you someday." Before leaving, he took Joshua's number.

02
The CallThree weeks later

Kingfred called. He shared a clear concern: many parents in Ghana had no simple way to recognise signs of dyslexia early in their children — and he wanted to change that. His work in dyslexia advocacy and his involvement with organisations such as Africa Dyslexia Organization and Ghana Dyslexia Organization had brought him close to the gap between policy, awareness, and lived reality. Joshua brought a different layer — product thinking, engineering, and experience building scalable digital systems. Together, the conversation shifted from awareness to possibility.
